Lyons Bowe are delighted to announce that we have been accredited with The Law Society Wills and Inheritance Quality Scheme. The first recognised quality standard mark for wills and estate administration in England and Wales.
WIQS provides a best practice quality mark, setting client standards to ensure transparency in process, costs and communications. It outlines required practices for drafting wills, probate and administration to assist in addressing common risks, errors and inconsistencies that arise in delivering advice.
In order to achieve this quality accreditation our specialist legal advisors in our Wills, Trust and Probate department went through a rigorous assessment and application process, which highlights their dedication to providing a high level of client care and expertise. The team use this knowledge to help to guide our clients through some of the most challenging periods of their lives, be it selling or buying a house, getting a divorce, dealing with a family member who has dementia, or indeed a loved one passing away.
Let us not forget that preparing a Will is one of the most important decisions a person can make, and if it is not done properly the consequences can be severe. A lot of people in the UK still die every year without a properly draft Will, or even without one at all. Using a WIQS accredited firm provides an additional level of assurance to clients that they are in a safe pair of hands.
