About
School in a Bag
School in a Bag is a UK charity dedicated to improving access to education for disadvantaged, displaced and disaster-affected children around the world. Through the provision of SchoolBags filled with essential educational resources, the charity helps children gain the tools and opportunity needed to learn and build brighter futures.
School in a Bag was created to support children whose education had been disrupted by poverty, conflict, natural disasters or social hardship. What began with the distribution of school equipment to orphaned children in Africa has grown into a global initiative supporting children in more than 60 countries.
Each SchoolBag contains practical learning resources designed to help children access education and improve their ability to study both inside and outside the classroom. The charity works closely with trusted local partners around the world to distribute the bags directly to children most in need, regardless of race, religion, or politics. Every internationally shipped SchoolBag is individually numbered and trackable, creating transparency and a direct connection between donors and recipients.
