A message from Hannah Read, Head of Family Law
“When people come to us, they are often at one of the most uncertain and emotional points in their lives. My role, and that of our Family Law solicitors, is to provide clarity, calm, and confidence, helping individuals and families move forward with dignity.”

We deliver a modern, client-first approach to family law, focusing on amicable divorce, child arrangements, financial settlements, No Fault Divorce, Prenuptial Agreement, Unmarried Couples, Domestic Abuse and Protection Order, Civil Partnership Dissolution and Same Sex Couples and LGBTQ+ Family Law, and planning for life after separation or divorce.
Whether you are based locally or working with us remotely, our team is here to support you with fixed-fee family law services, clear advice, and digital convenience. We offer a free initial consultation with one of our Family Law solicitors, giving you space to ask questions and understand your options, with no obligation to proceed. From no-fault divorce and separation agreements to parenting plans and financial consent orders, we are here to guide you through every step of your legal journey with clarity and care.
We understand that making the first move can feel overwhelming. Many of our clients worry about causing conflict, about costs, or simply about coping with the stress of it all. That is why we have created a more structured, supportive way to approach separation. One that prioritises understanding, clear options, and the future of everyone involved.

A child arrangement order is a court order that sets out who is responsible for a child. They are most often used when two parents are divorcing and they want to set out how to arrange the care of their children.
Only in very strict circumstances: To dispute the jurisdiction of the court in England or Wales. For example, where neither party lives in or has any connection with England or Wales. Neither party has entered into a legally valid marriage. The marriage or civil partnership has already been legally ended.
Our Lyons Bowe Fixed Fee Divorce costs £500 + VAT and court fees. The court fee is the fee set by the Government and currently stands at £593. This will be a total fee of £1193 inclusive of VAT and court fees.
The government website has a really helpful child maintenance calculator. You will not need to pay anything through the Child Maintenance Service if: You share equal custody with the other parent. You are a full time student. You are in prison.
